1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lotto Dash ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lotto Dash ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

Lotto Dash is a South African lottery companion app that allows users to:

• Scan physical lottery tickets using OCR technology
• Track draw results for all seven ITHUBA national lottery games
• Receive push notifications when draw results are available
• View draw history, statistics, and number trends
• Earn and redeem points through a referral programme

Lotto Dash is a tracking and companion tool only. We do not sell lottery tickets, process lottery payments, or represent ITHUBA or the National Lottery in any capacity.

3. User Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lotto Dash, in accordance with South African law governing lottery participation. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lottodash.app if you suspect any unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of South African law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the App in an automated manner
• Use the App to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the referral or points system
• Attempt to circumvent any access controls, subscription checks, or rate limits

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Lotto Dash offers optional paid subscription tiers (Pro and Premium) billed on a monthly basis. Payments are processed through:

• Google Play Billing — for in-app purchases on Android devices
• PayFast — for web and direct payments

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel at any time through your Google Play account settings or by contacting us.

We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable South African consumer protection law.

6. Points & Referral Programme

Lotto Dash operates a points-based referral programme:

• You earn 50 points for each new user who signs up using your referral link
• 350 points can be redeemed for one month of Pro (valued at R11.99)
• 600 points can be redeemed for one month of Premium (valued at R22.99)

Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside of the App. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the points programme at any time with reasonable notice. Points earned through fraudulent referrals (including self-referrals or fake accounts) will be forfeited and the account may be terminated.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials within Lotto Dash are the property of Lotto Dash or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Lottery result data is sourced from publicly available feeds published by ITHUBA. We make no claim of ownership over lottery draw results or any ITHUBA intellectual property.

8. Disclaimers

Not affiliated with ITHUBA: Lotto Dash is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to ITHUBA or the South African National Lottery.

Result accuracy: While we make every effort to display accurate and timely draw results, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data sourced from third-party feeds. Always verify results through official ITHUBA channels before making any financial decisions.

Responsible gambling: Lotto Dash encourages responsible play. If you feel you may have a gambling problem, please contact the National Responsible Gambling Programme at responsiblegambling.org.za or call 0800 006 008 (free).

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Lotto Dash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or missed lottery results.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of Lotto Dash is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where material changes are made, notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
